TECHNICAL TEAM

Kevin Drews joined Production Solutions International in 2016 as Stimulation Manager. Mr. Drews provides technical and operational solutions that help generate more production while streamlining operations. He manages all aspects of well stimulation, including Hydraulic Fracturing, Acidizing and Nitrogen.

Mr. Drews has 10+ years’ experience and has operated several thousand individual operations during this time. His career began with BJ Services, learning well stimulation from the bottom up. After leaving BJ Services Mr. Drews joined the engineering firm Integrated Petroleum technologies based in Denver Colorado. There he supervised over 1,000 operations spread across all the major basins in the United States. Mr. Drews has helped E&P companies maximize productivity, streamline operations and ultimately reduce completions costs while maximizing the moneys that were spent. 

Brian Foster joined Production Solutions International in 2016 as Wireline Operations Manager. Mr. Foster started his expat career with Viking International in 2010 a Wireline Field Engineer and TCP specialist. In 2012 he advanced to Wireline Operations Manager, becoming responsible for all field operations and fiscal management of the Wireline, Slickline, TCP and Cased Hole Operations in Thrace and Southeast Region of Turkey. Under his leadership, over 2000 wireline and slickline operations have been completed in Turkey to date.

Mr. Foster has 12 years’ experience in Wireline Operations both in the USA and Turkey. Prior to joining Production Solutions International, Mr. Foster was an integral part of startup and operating of the Viking International Wireline Services division located in Turkey, with additional oversight of Underbalanced Drilling and Completion Tools.

Prior to his operations in Turkey, Brian was employed by Integrated Production Services as a Wireline Engineer. He served as a Cased Hole Wireline Engineer as well as Pump Down, Coil Tubing Conveyed perforating and TCP Specialist from 2005-2010, conducting operations in Texas and Oklahoma and Kansas.

Mr. Foster is native of Enid, Oklahoma and holds a certification from O.T. Autry Technical School and numerous industry certifications. 

Serdar Yılmaz joined Production Solutions International in 2016 as the Turkey - Field Manager. He manages the Workover and Heavy Equipment Operations Departments. His responsibilities include managing field operations, maintaining and development of customer relationships, building and implementing equipment maintenance schedules and the optimization of all associated procedures.  

Serdar Yılmaz has 8 years’ experience in Field Operations. Mr. Yilmaz started his career at Borusan Caterpillar of Turkey as a Technical Support Engineer, following this position he joined Viking International as a Heavy Equipment Operations Superintendent. During his tenure at Viking International he advanced from Superintendent to Regional Department Manager overseeing operations in Turkey, Europe, N. Iraq, and Georgia.

Serdar Yılmaz home town is Tatvan / Bitlis, in the East of Turkey but currently resides in Diyarbakir, Turkey. He is a member of the Mechanical Engineering Association of Turkey and holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul. 

Gurbey Guven joined Production Solutions International in 2019 as Drilling & Completions Superintendent. He was appointed to Well Testing Manager position in 2020. Mr. Guven has 10+ years of experience in oil, gas and geothermal wells’ drilling, completion and production operations. In his current role he is responsible for well testing / flow back operations, equipment inspection & maintenance schedules, and liaison with clients and vendors.

Mr. Guven started his career as a Production Engineer at Thrace Basin Natural Gas (Turkey) Corporation (TBNG) in 2008. In 2011, he continued his career as a Well Testing Field Supervisor with Viking International. For his personal development he moved to drilling & completions service line in 2012. He then joined Enerjeo geothermal company in 2015 as a Drilling & Completions Superintendent. During his career he was involved in coil tubing operations, cleaning tests with foam unit, rig refurbishment and acceptance, handling natural gas operated compressor’s, and ESP running operations several times.

Gurbey Guven holds certifications in Cyber Chair Operator in X-COM system and NOV TDS-11SA Top Drive Operator, IWCF Well Control Supervisor Level, International Gas Business Management Certificates and he has a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in Turkey.

Kerem Subaşı joined Production Solutions International in 2021 as HSEQ Supervisor. He is responsible for building and implementing the QHSE policies to conform with all local, industrial and international regulations, Liaison with Operator in regards to QHSE matters, maintaining internal and external reporting according to established systems. Other responsibilities include; mitigating hazardous conditions, reviewing safety procedures, circulating safety information to various departments, training of staff, and conducting all drills.

Mr. Subaşı has over 10 years of experience. He started his career 2011 as Crew Admin / HSE Engineer. Prior to joining the company, he worked as an “QHSE Superintendent”  in Turkey, Albania, Oman, N. Iraq.

He holds certifications in NEBOSH, OSHA Supervisor / DuPont – Behavioral Based Safety Train the Trainer, 1st Level Fire Fighting Train the Trainer, Defensive driving and he has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management Engineering from Bulgarian Varna Technical University.

Marek Fijalkowski joined Production Solutions International in August 2022 as a Senior Stimulation Engineer. His primary responsibilities include all aspects related to planning, support, and execution of hydraulic proppant fracturing, acidizing, and nitrogen operations. He works closely with Production Solutions customers providing technical and operational expertise to maximize well productivity.

Mr. Fijalkowski graduated with petroleum engineering degree from University of Science and Technology in Cracow, Poland. He has worked internationally for major and independent oilfield service companies holding senior engineering and technical positions. His experience covers stimulation, intervention and completion of unconventional shale plays and tight sandstone fields as well as coal seam gas beds.

Louis Schwartz joined Production Solutions International in July 2018 as Business Development Manager. His duties include company growth and service expansion, bid models and pricing agreements, and maximizing client potential. Prior to Mr. Schwartz’s career in oilfield service, he served in the US Navy as an aviation structural mechanic, working on F-14’s and other naval aircraft, serving his main tour on the USS America.

Mr. Schwartz began his career in 1988 as a field operator for the Oklahoma City based wireline company Star-Jet Services. Throughout his 30 years in oilfield service, he has held positions with several key industry companies such as Baker Atlas, Integrated Production Services, and Recon Petro Technologies. His roles have included Cased Hole Engineer, Pipe Recovery Specialist, District and Region Manager, Sales Manager, and Operations Manager.

During his career, Mr. Schwartz has held several industry certifications including Radiation safety for Oil Well loggers, pressure control, Safeland, Log Analysis from Kansas University.

Ferit Binzet joined Production Solutions International as the Technical Sales Manager in 2020. Mr. Binzet started his oil field career as a Mud Logging Engineer in 2009. Mr. Binzet has worked in field operations, technical design, service delivery; and progressed into leadership roles since 2012. Most recently, under his supervision Directional Drilling, Mud Logging and Under Balance product lines have successfully done many critical operations in Turkey market.

Mr. Binzet holds a degree in Geology from Ankara University. Mr. Binzet has a background in Business Development and Sales.

Mr. Parkhomenko Joined Production Solutions International in January 2021 as Business Development / Country Manager in Ukraine with focus on CEE countries. His primary responsibilities include all aspects related to expansion of PSI services. He works closely with current and potential customers providing marketing and promotional support.

Vlad has a Master Degree in International Law and Business Administration as well as certificates from Carnegie Mellon University and Swedish Institute. He has worked internationally for exploration and production companies holding senior managerial positions. His experience covers overall company management, sustainability management and business development.
